If you’ve fallen in love with Maileg and started building a collection, you’ve probably noticed that sizing can feel a little confusing at first. Which bed fits which mouse? Can the bunny share furniture with the mice? What’s the difference between My, Micro, and Medium?
This guide breaks it all down clearly — so you can shop with confidence and build a Maileg world that works beautifully together.
Maileg Mice Sizes
Mice are the heart of the Maileg universe, and they come in several sizes across three generations:
Baby Mouse — 2.5 inches
The smallest of all. Baby mice (including Sleepy Wakey Babies, Twins, and Triplets) fit perfectly into My-sized furniture and accessories.
Little Brother & Sister Mouse — 4 inches
The next size up. These fit into Micro-sized furniture and accessories.
Big Brother & Sister Mouse — 4.5–5 inches
Slightly larger than Little Brother and Sister. Big Brother and Sister mice can fit into Micro clothing and furniture.
Mum & Dad Mouse — 6 inches
The parents of the mouse family. They fit into the larger Mouse-sized furniture. Grandparents are the same height as Mum and Dad, though Grandpa features a rounder tummy.
Medium Mouse — 13.5 inches
A much larger mouse, designed to be a cuddly soft toy rather than a dollhouse figure. Medium mice can wear the same size clothes as Maileg Best Friends.
Maxi Mouse — 19.5 inches
Even larger — a statement piece for a shelf or a very committed collector.
Mega Mouse — 28 inches
The largest in the mouse family.
Maileg Bunnies & Rabbits Sizes
One quick tip before we dive in: ears up = Rabbit, ears down = Bunny. Rabbits always appear taller than bunnies of the same size because their ears are upright, while bunnies have long, floppy ears.
My Rabbit — 4.5 inches
The smallest rabbit. My Rabbits share furniture and accessories with Baby Mice perfectly. Note: there are no My Bunnies, only My Rabbits.
Micro Bunny / Micro Rabbit — 5 inches
Micro Bunnies stand the same height as Little Brother and Sister mice, which means their furniture and accessories are fully interchangeable. Micro Rabbits are a touch taller due to their upright ears but fit the same furniture.
Size 1 Rabbit / Bunny — 10 inches
Larger and designed for the Miniature scale. Size 1 fits Mini-sized furniture.
Size 2 Rabbit / Bunny — 12 inches
Similar to Size 1. Also fits Mini-sized furniture.
Size 3 Rabbit / Bunny — 19 inches
A cuddly companion size. Fits Medium/Large furniture.
Size 4 Rabbit / Bunny — 26 inches
A large, huggable friend. Best as a standalone soft toy.
Size 5 Rabbit / Bunny — the largest in the family.
Maileg Furniture Sizes — Which Fits What?
This is where it gets really useful. In 2023, Maileg simplified their furniture labelling, but older pieces still use the original terminology. Here’s how it all maps together:
Baby / My (also known as My)
Fits: Baby Mice, My Rabbits
Mouse / Micro (also known as Micro)
Fits: Little & Big Brother/Sister Mice, Micro Bunnies & RabbitsMini / Miniature (also known as Mini)
Fits: Size 1 & 2 Rabbits/Bunnies, Teddies Medium
Fits: Size 3 Rabbits/Bunnies, Medium Mice
Important: Mini/Miniature furniture is significantly larger than Mouse/Micro furniture and is designed for bigger dollhouses like the Maileg House of Miniature. It won’t fit into 1:12 scale dollhouses like the Mouse Hole Farmhouse, IKEA Flisat house, or Maileg Castles.
Mouse/Micro sized furniture works well with 1:12 scale dollhouses, the Mouse Hole Farmhouse, the IKEA Flisat, and Maileg Castles.
Maileg Bed Guide
Cradle (Baby / My size) — Fits Baby Mice (Twins, Triplets, Sleepy Wakey) and My Rabbits.
Vintage Single Bed (Mint) — Fits mice up to Big Brother & Sister size, and Micro Bunnies/Rabbits. Perfect for smaller dollhouses.
Cot Bed — Fits mice up to Big Brother & Sister size, and Micro Bunnies/Rabbits.
Bed for Mouse (Off-White) — Fits mice up to Mum & Dad size (including Grandparents), and Micro Bunnies/Rabbits. Larger than the vintage single bed.
Vintage Bed — Mum & Dad size — The largest mouse bed. Fits Mum, Dad, and Grandparent mice. Best suited to the Maileg House of Miniature or the Farmhouse.
Clothing: One Important Rule
Each Maileg outfit is designed with one specific character in mind — a Little Sister Mouse outfit won’t fit a Mum Mouse, and a Size 3 Bunny dress won’t fit a Micro Bunny. The main exceptions: Big Brother & Sister mice can wear Micro-sized clothing, and Medium Mice can share clothing with Best Friends (Bunny, Doggy, Kitten).

Good news: all Maileg food is roughly the same size and designed to be used across all ranges. No need to match food to your mouse size — it’s made to be safe and playable for little hands across the whole collection.
