Collégien Slippers Size Guide: How to Pick the Right Size for Your Child

Collégien slippers fit snug, so if your child is between two sizes, order the larger one. A cold floor and a growing foot are a tricky combination, and a slipper that pinches never gets worn. This guide shows the official Collégien size chart, how to measure at home, and which size to pick.

Collégien kids slipper size chart

Collégien size (EU) UK US Japan (cm)
20/21 3.5/4.5 C 4.5/5 12.5/13.5
22/23 5.5/6 C 6/6.5 14/14.5
24/25 7/7.5 C 7.5/8 15/15.5
26/27 8.5/9 C 9.5/10.5 16/16.5
28/29 10/11 C 11/12 17/17.5
30/31 11.5/12.5 C 12.5/13 18/18.5
32/33 13/1 J 1.5/2 19/20
34/35 2/2.5 J 3/3.5 20.5/21

C means US children's sizes and J means US junior sizes. The chart is taken from the official Collégien size guide.

How to measure your child's foot

  1. Stand your child on a sheet of paper, heel against a wall.
  2. Mark the tip of the longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark in centimeters.
  3. Find that number in the Japan (cm) column above. Japanese kids' sizes are foot length in centimeters, so this is the quickest match.
  4. If the measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Sizing tips from us

  • Between two sizes? Size up. Collégien slippers are made with traditional knitting and can tighten slightly during manufacturing, so the brand recommends the larger size when you hesitate.
  • Don't reuse the sock chart. Collégien socks are sized in ranges (for example 24/27), while slippers are sized in pairs (for example 24/25). The two charts are different.
  • Check the sole. Collégien slippers have an ergonomic, non-slip, micro-perforated sole, made for indoors and light outdoor use. Leave the removable insole inside when you wash and dry them.
  • Wool and cashmere styles need gentler care. Use a cold, delicate wash with wool or silk detergent, no fabric softener, and air-dry flat. Cotton styles can go in the machine at 30°C; skip the tumble dryer.

Collégien slippers at littlewild kids

  • Lady Slippers: soft cotton (83% cotton, 15% polyamide, 2% elastane), an easy everyday pair that goes in the washing machine.
  • Coeur en Chocolat Slippers: a cream wool and cashmere blend with a caramel heart, the coziest pick for cold floors.
  • Danseuse Slippers with Tulle Ruffle: cotton with a tulle ruffle and a touch of shimmer, made for dress-up and dancing around the house.

Frequently asked questions

Do Collégien slippers run small?
They fit snug. If your child is between two sizes, Collégien recommends choosing the larger one.
Can children wear Collégien slippers outside?
Yes, for light outdoor use. The sole is non-slip and micro-perforated, so it works for the garden, the car, or a quick trip outside.
How do I wash Collégien slippers?
Cotton styles can be machine washed at 30°C with the insoles left in. Wool and cashmere styles need a cold, gentle wash. Air-dry both; tumble drying is not advised.
Can I use my child's sock size to pick slippers?
No. Slippers and socks have separate charts, so always use the slipper chart above.
